{"id":369,"date":"2022-06-17T19:41:44","date_gmt":"2022-06-17T17:41:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.loulou.plet.org\/?p=369"},"modified":"2022-06-17T19:41:44","modified_gmt":"2022-06-17T17:41:44","slug":"hors-serie-les-transports-au-perou-transportation-in-peru","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.loulou.plet.org\/index.php\/2022\/06\/17\/hors-serie-les-transports-au-perou-transportation-in-peru\/","title":{"rendered":"Hors-s\u00e9rie : Les transports au P\u00e9rou \/ Transportation in Peru"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>(ou comment reconnaitre un vrai taxi d&#8217;un faux \/ Or how to reconize a real taxi from a fake one)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les villes p\u00e9ruviennes sont \u00e9parpill\u00e9es dans les montagnes, dans les for\u00eats ou sur les c\u00f4tes, mais les distances entre elles sont cons\u00e9quente et voyager peut s\u2019av\u00e9rer prendre une journ\u00e9e enti\u00e8re, voire plus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour visiter les diff\u00e9rents endroits, il y a, heureusement pour nous autres pauvres touristes, plusieurs moyens de transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Peruvian cities are scattered in the mountains, in the forests or on the coasts, but the distances between them are substantial and traveling can take a whole day or more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To visit the different places, there are, fortunately for us poor tourists, several means of transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Colectivos \/<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Si vous suivez un peu le blog, vous savez que je parle r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement de colectivos. C\u2019est le moyen le plus commun et le moins cher de se d\u00e9placer, ici, au P\u00e9rou. Ce sont des voitures ou minivans avec des chauffeurs sous-pay\u00e9s qui gueulent dans les rues leur destination pour attirer les clients. Les colectivos ne partent que lorsqu\u2019ils sont pleins ou qu\u2019ils ne trouvent vraiment plus de clients. Les d\u00e9parts sont donc un peu al\u00e9atoires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les conducteurs de colectivos sont en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral soit des chauffards, soit des pilotes certifi\u00e9s par la NASA. Ils conduisent vite, imprudemment (surtout dans les montagnes) et en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral avec la musique \u00e0 fond. Mais ils ne sont pas chers du tout\u00a0! Un Cusco \u2013 Ollantaytambo (~2h de route) peut vous revenir \u00e0 s\/.15 (~4\u20ac). Pour aller au Machupicchu, beaucoup utilisent les colectivos qui viennent de Cusco (6h de route \u00e0 s\/.50) mais le trajet ressemble au Gorges de l\u2019Ard\u00e8che crois\u00e9es avec un sentier de campagne caillouteux.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>If you follow the blog a bit, you know that I regularly talk about colectivos. This is the most common and cheapest way to get around here in Peru. These are cars or minivans with underpaid drivers who scream in the streets their destination to attract customers. Colectivos only leave when they are full or really can&#8217;t find any more customers. The departures are therefore a little random.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Colectivo drivers are usually either drivers or NASA-certified pilots. They drive fast, recklessly (especially in the mountains) and usually with music to the fullest. But they are not expensive at all! A Cusco \u2013 Ollantaytambo (~2h drive) can cost you s\/.15 (~4\u20ac). To go to the Machupicchu, many use the colectivos that come from Cusco (6 hours drive to s\/.50) but the route resembles the Gorges de l&#8217;Ard\u00e8che crossed with a stony country path.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.loulou.plet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/20220301_145423-1-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-428\" width=\"771\" height=\"1026\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trains<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Le P\u00e9rou \u00e9tant un pays tr\u00e8s montagneux, surtout dans le sud, ou tr\u00e8s forestier, surtout dans le nord, les trains ne passent pas partout. Il n\u2019y a que 2 compagnies de train&nbsp;: PeruRail et IncaRail. PeruRail propose en tout et pour tout 5 destinations&nbsp;: Cusco, Ollantaytambo, Machupicchu, Arequipa et Puno. Seulement des villes dans le sud du pays.&nbsp; La compagnie poss\u00e8de \u00e9galement l\u2019entreprise Hiram Bingham qui ne propose que des trajets pour le Machupicchu dans des trains de luxe (un ticket aller simple coute plus de 500\u20ac). Les trajets effectu\u00e9s par PeruRail coutent entre 40 et 100 $ et leur fr\u00e9quence d\u00e9pend de la destination. Pour Ollantaytambo ou Machupicchu, pas de probl\u00e8me, il y en a plusieurs par jour. Pour les autres villes, il y en a 1 par semaine et encore&nbsp;!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IncaRail, quant \u00e0 eux, ne proposent que des trajets Cusco-Ollantaytambo \u2013 Machupicchu et les prix varient entre 30 et 120$.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Peru is a very mountainous country, especially in the south, or very forested, especially in the north, trains do not pass everywhere. There are only 2 train companies: PeruRail and IncaRail. PeruRail offers a total of 5 destinations: Cusco, Ollantaytambo, Machupicchu, Arequipa and Puno. Only cities in the south of the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company also owns the company Hiram Bingham which only offers trips to the Machupicchu in luxury trains (a one-way ticket costs more than 500 \u20ac). Trips made by PeruRail cost between $40 and $100 and their frequency depends on the destination. For Ollantaytambo or Machupicchu, no problem, there are several a day. Un colectivo vous emm\u00e8nera dans les villes alentours, mais celle qui sont un peu plus loin, non. Il y a beaucoup de compagnies de bus diff\u00e9rentes et elles relient toutes les villes p\u00e9ruviennes, voire les villes qui bordent les fronti\u00e8res. La compagnie la plus rependue et appr\u00e9ci\u00e9e est Cruz del Sur. La plupart des bus roulent de nuit est ont des si\u00e8ges pouvant s\u2019incliner jusqu\u2019\u00e0 180\u00b0.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>To travel between cities, buses are the most economical means of transport. A colectivo will take you to the surrounding towns, but the one that are a little further away, no. There are many different bus companies and they connect all Peruvian cities, even the cities that border the borders. The most popular and appreciated company is Cruz del Sur. Chaque grande ville a son a\u00e9roport et m\u00eame certaines villes plus petit en ont un\u00a0! Les prix des tickets ne sont pas excessifs, mais bon \u00e7a reste des avions, c\u2019est donc plus cher que le colectivo, surtout pour les \u00e9trangers, cependant les temps de voyage sont imbattables (Cuzco \u2013 Lima en bus = 21h30, Cuzco \u2013 Lima en avion = 1h30) ! La compagnie la plus r\u00e9put\u00e9e est LATAM (L\u2019Air France p\u00e9ruvien), mais ils sont quand m\u00eame un peu chiants surtout quand il s\u2019agit d\u2019acheter ou de changer un billet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>In Peru, few train stations but a lot of airport! Every big city has its airport and even some smaller cities have one! Ticket prices are not excessive, but hey it&#8217;s still planes, so it&#8217;s more expensive than colectivo, especially for foreigners, however travel times are unbeatable (Cuzco \u2013 Lima by bus = 21h30, Cuzco \u2013 Lima by plane = 1h30)! Aaaah&nbsp;! Quelle belle invention&nbsp;! Tr\u00e8s pratique dans les grandes villes, les taxis sont partout&nbsp;! Et ils le font remarquer&nbsp;! Voici une liste non-exhaustives des raisons pour lesquelles un taxi pourrait claxonner&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pour se dire bonjour entre eux<\/li><li>Pour vous demander si vous avez besoin d\u2019un taxi<\/li><li>Quand ils arrivent dans un virage<\/li><li>Quand un chien (ou un humain) traverse la route<\/li><li>Pour tout et n\u2019importe quoi\u2026.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Les prix, convertis en euro, ne sont pas excessifs&nbsp;: 20 min de trajet pour 2,50\u20ac (soit s\/. 10.00). Mais malgr\u00e9 le fait qu\u2019ils soient tr\u00e8s pratiques et omnipr\u00e9sents, mieux vaut demander \u00e0 son h\u00f4tel d\u2019en appeler un pour vous en cas de besoin. Les touristes ne connaissant pas les prix en vigueur ont tendance \u00e0 se faire arnaquer. Il faut marchander les prix, au P\u00e9rou, m\u00eame pour les taxis&nbsp;! De plus beaucoup de taxis sont des faux&nbsp;! Eh oui&nbsp;! C\u2019est donc mieux de demander \u00e0 votre h\u00f4tel de s\u2019en occuper, ils vous font les prix et n\u2019appellent que des taxis certifi\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais comme on ne se trouve pas toujours dans un h\u00f4tel au bon moment, comment faire pour reconnaitre un vrai taxi d\u2019un faux, comme \u00e7a, dans la rue, me demanderez-vous&nbsp;? Il y a quelques \u00e9l\u00e9ments pour vous aider&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les vrais taxis ont toujours&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Des fen\u00eatres transparentes<\/li><li>Leur plaque d\u2019immatriculation sur l\u2019arri\u00e8re, l\u2019avant et les c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la voiture, ainsi que sur l\u2019int\u00e9rieur des portes<\/li><li>Un panneau lumineux sur le toit<\/li><li>Un num\u00e9ro sur le pare-brise<\/li><li>La licence du conducteur devant le si\u00e8ge passager<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Si votre taxi rassemble tous ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments, alors c\u2019est bon&nbsp;! Il ne vous reste plus qu\u2019\u00e0 n\u00e9gocier le prix&nbsp;!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Taxis! Aaaah! What a beautiful invention! Very convenient in big cities, taxis are everywhere! And they point it out! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a non-exhaustive list of reasons why a taxi might honk:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To greet each other<\/li><li>To ask you if you need a taxi<\/li><li>When they are going to turn<\/li><li>When a dog (or human) cross the road<\/li><li>For everything and nothing<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prices, converted into euros, are not excessive: 20 minutes of travel for 2.50 \u20ac (s\/. 10.00). But despite the fact that they are very practical and ubiquitous, it is better to ask your hotel to call one for you if necessary. Tourists who do not know the current prices tend to be scammed. You have to haggle over prices in Peru, even for taxis! Plus, a lot of taxis are fakes! Yes! So it&#8217;s better to ask your hotel to take care of it, they make you the prices and only call certified taxis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But since you are not always in a hotel at the right time, how to recognize a real taxi from a fake, like that, on the street, you will ask me? There are a few things to help you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Real taxis always have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Transparent windows<\/li><li>Their license plate on the rear, front and sides of the car, as well as on the inside of the doors<\/li><li>A LED-Panel on the top of the car<\/li><li>A number on their windscreen<\/li><li>The driver&#8217;s licence in front of the passenger seat<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If your taxi brings all these elements together, then it&#8217;s good!
