R\u00e9veil, ma foi, tranquillou. Douche rapide et farniente. Je voudrais aller tester un caf\u00e9, dont Laurine m\u2019a parl\u00e9 et qui, apparemment, fait des gaufres \u00e0 tomber ! Donc, apr\u00e8s avoir bien trainer au lit, rencontrer quelques personnes dans le hall de l\u2019h\u00f4tel et fait un tour en ville, je me dirige vers ce caf\u00e9. Il est tout petit et il y a d\u00e9j\u00e0 une file d\u2019attente. Donc j\u2019attends ! En attendant, je t\u00e9l\u00e9phone avec Fanny, je fais le programme de la journ\u00e9e, regarde les bus pour Nazca, bref, le temps passe\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

20 min plus tard, j\u2019atteins enfin une table et je peux enfin commander cette fameuse gaufre fraise-chocolat-sirop d\u2019\u00e9rable tant convoit\u00e9e. Un d\u00e9lice !!! Je suis rest\u00e9e dans le caf\u00e9 pour bouquiner, puis je suis all\u00e9e faire quelques courses pour le repas du soir, puis je suis rentr\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel o\u00f9 j\u2019ai retrouv\u00e9 certaines des personnes avec qui j\u2019ai discut\u00e9 le matin m\u00eame. Dont un Allemand, David, qui lui aussi est int\u00e9ress\u00e9 pour gouter le vin p\u00e9ruvien. On ressort, retour au magasin, on trouve un bouteille et sant\u00e9 ! D\u2019autres se joignent \u00e0 non avec bi\u00e8res et autres boissons, on cuisine tous ensemble et on passe une excellente soir\u00e9e \u00e0 papoter et \u00e0 \u00e9couter les histoires des uns et des autres. J\u2019ai aussi rencontr\u00e9 Mimika, une Belge qui reviendra.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Wake up, my faith, tranquillou. Quick shower and idleness. I would like to go and test a coffee, which Laurine told me about and which, apparently, makes waffles to die for! So after hanging out well in bed, meeting a few people in the hotel lobby and taking a tour of the city, I head to this caf\u00e9. It is very small and there is already a queue. So I’m waiting! In the meantime, I call with Fanny, I do the program of the day, watch the buses to Nazca, in short, time passes\u2026
20 minutes later, I finally reach a table and I can finally order this famous strawberry-chocolate-maple syrup waffle so coveted. A delight!!! I stayed in the caf\u00e9 to read, then went shopping for the evening meal, then went back to the hotel where I met some of the people I chatted with that morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Including a German, David, who is also interested in tasting Peruvian wine. We go out, back to the store, we find a bottle and health! Others join no with beers and other drinks, we all cook together and have a great evening chatting and listening to each other’s stories. I also met Mimika, a Belgian who will be coming back.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

 En me levant ce matin, j\u2019ai 2 objectifs pour cette derni\u00e8re journ\u00e9e \u00e0 Arequipa : 1. Aller petit-d\u00e9jeuner dans un caf\u00e9 dont la sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 sont les fruits et 2. Aller d\u00e9jeuner dans le caf\u00e9 o\u00f9 j\u2019avais mang\u00e9 le meilleur cordon bleu de ma vie, lors de mon dernier passage \u00e0 Arequipa (voire \u00ab Voyage voyage loin de Mandor). Ces 2 projets, pourtant simples, sont tomb\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019eau au moment o\u00f9 mon portable est tomb\u00e9 au sol apr\u00e8s ma douche \u2026 L\u2019\u00e9cran s\u2019est explos\u00e9 contre la pierre et mes r\u00eaves de fruits et cordon-bleu ont \u00e9clat\u00e9s en morceau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 des gars avec qui on a discut\u00e9 la veille assistent \u00e0 cette triste sc\u00e8ne et r\u00e9agissent au quart de tour !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ils cherchent des magasins de r\u00e9paration dans les alentours et l\u2019un d\u2019entre eux m\u2019accompagne dans ma recherche de solution. Il est 8 :45 tous les magasins sont encore ferm\u00e9s \u00e0 part un ! Brossage de dents, passage aux toilettes et c\u2019est parti ! Avec David comme GPS, je cours quasiment dans les rues et on arrive l\u00e0 o\u00f9 le magasin sacr\u00e9 doit se trouver ! Mais, h\u00e9las, celui-ci est ferm\u00e9 d\u00e9finitivement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 :00 passe, les magasins autour ouvre et 1 d\u2019entre eux attire mon attention. On rentre et le vendeur m\u2019annonce quelque chose que je redoutais : Ce t\u00e9l\u00e9phone n\u2019\u00e9tant pas commercialis\u00e9 (C\u2019est un t\u00e9l\u00e9phone d\u2019une marque chinoise random), il n\u2019a donc pas d\u2019\u00e9cran de rechange, il faut le commander et \u00e7a prendrait 15 jours, m\u00eame \u00e0 Cusco et le prix pour cela serait. Quelque peu d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9e (puisque mes billets de bus pour le soir m\u00eame sont sur mon portable), je me d\u00e9cide \u00e0 racheter un portable et repars, un peu \u00e9nerv\u00e9e. Pour me calmer et parce que j\u2019ai tr\u00e8s faim, je d\u00e9cide de me rendre au Kafi Wasi (l\u00e0 o\u00f9 il y a le cordon-bleu) et David continu \u00e0 me suivre, je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais bon ! Une fois l\u00e0-bas on commande \u00e0 petit-d\u00e9jeuner (Pain perdu absolument d\u00e9licieux !) et je commence \u00e0 faire tous les settings n\u00e9cessaires sur mon nouveau portable. Retrouver les mots de passe de mes adresses mail, de mes diverses applications, etc \u2026 David, comprenant que je n\u2019aller faire que ca toute la journ\u00e9e et pas discuter avec lui, s\u2019est d\u00e9cider \u00e0 partir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je suis rest\u00e9e pendant plusieurs heures (et j\u2019ai command\u00e9 le fameux cordon-bleu, aussi bon que dans mes souvenirs) et je suis rentr\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel. Davis y est aussi et veut absolument que je l\u2019accompagne manger une pizza. N\u2019ayant rien de mieux \u00e0 faire, j\u2019y vais mais ne commande qu\u2019un caf\u00e9 et une limonade. Pendant ce temps il se commande sa pizza et passe son temps \u00e0 se plaindre du fait que ce n\u2019est pas comme en Allemagne\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On paie, on rentre \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel et je me pose dans le hall : j\u2019ai encore plusieurs heures \u00e0 attendre avant mon bus pour Nazca, vers 20 :45. Je continue mes r\u00e9glages, t\u00e9l\u00e9charge quelques musiques pour le voyage et papote avec les personnes autour jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019heure de partir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je prends un taxi pour la gare terrestre et monte dans mon bus pour Nazca, soit 10h de route.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

When I get up this morning, I have 2 goals for this last day in Arequipa: 1. Go to breakfast in a caf\u00e9 whose specialty is fruit and 2. Go to lunch in the caf\u00e9 where I had eaten the best cordon bleu of my life, during my last visit to Arequipa (see “Travel trip away from Mandor”). These 2 projects, however simple, fell into the water the moment my laptop fell to the ground after my shower \u2026 The screen exploded against the stone and my dreams of fruit and cordon-bleu burst into pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 of the guys we talked to the day before attend this sad scene and react to the quarter turn!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are looking for repair shops in the vicinity and one of them accompanies me in my search for a solution. It is 8:45 all shops are still closed except one! Brushing your teeth, going to the toilet and let’s go! With David as my GPS, I almost run in the streets and we get to where the sacred store should be! But, alas, it is closed permanently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9:00 passes, the shops around open and 1 of them catches my attention. We come back and the seller tells me something I dreaded: This phone is not marketed (It is a phone of a random Chinese brand), so it does not have a spare screen, you have to order it and it would take 15 days, even in Cusco and the price for that would be. Somewhat desperate (since my bus tickets for the same evening are on my mobile), I decide to buy a laptop and leave, a little angry. To calm down and because I am very hungry, I decide to go to Kafi Wasi (where there is the cordon-bleu) and David continues to follow me, I do not know why, but hey! Once there we order breakfast (French toast absolutely delicious!) and I start to make all the necessary settings on my new laptop. Find the passwords of my email addresses, my various applications, etc \u2026 David, understanding that I’m only going to do this all day and not chat with him, decided to leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I stayed for several hours (and ordered the famous cordon-bleu, as good as in my memories) and went back to the hotel. Davis is also there and absolutely wants me to accompany him to eat a pizza. Having nothing better to do, I go but only order a coffee and a lemonade. Meanwhile he orders his pizza and spends his time complaining that it’s not like in Germany\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We pay, we go back to the hotel and I sit in the lobby: I still have several hours to wait before my bus to Nazca, around 20:45. I continue my settings, download some music for the trip and chat with the people around until it’s time to leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I take a taxi to the land station and get on my bus to Nazca, which is a 10-hour drive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ceci sont les seules photos qu’il me reste d’Arequipa, et comme vous pouvez voir, la qualit\u00e9 de la cam\u00e9ra de ce t\u00e9l\u00e9phone est une insulte aux avanc\u00e9es technologiques des 10 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Je suis donc d\u00e9sol\u00e9e si certaines photos sont un peu flou, je fais de mon mieux pour \u00e9viter \u00e7a !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are the only photos I have left of Arequipa, and as you can see, the quality of this phone’s camera is an insult to the technological advances of the last 10 years. So I’m sorry if some photos are a little blurry, I do my best to avoid that!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 Nazca \/ Arrival in Nasca – 24.05<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nous arrivons \u00e0 Nazca vers 6 :30, je sors du bus (l\u2019un des pires que j\u2019ai pris ! Pas de toilettes, pas de port USB pour recharger, pas de si\u00e8ge allongeable, bref, je ne recommande pas !!), puis je me dirige vers la sortie. Comme habituellement au P\u00e9rou, une femme me propose un tour quelconque. Je refuse et lui demande o\u00f9 je peux trouver un taxi. Elle me demande quel h\u00f4tel, et comprenant que nous ne sommes pas loin, elle m\u2019accompagne jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la porte !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chose rare : J\u2019ai pu rentrer dans la chambre directement !!! J\u2019ai donc essay\u00e9 de dormir un peu, sachant qu\u2019\u00e0 8 :45 la compagnie a\u00e9rienne de Nazca viendrait me chercher pour faire un vol au-dessus des lignes de Nazca. Mais \u00e0 ce moment : impossible de dormir ! Pourquoi ? Parce que depuis quelques jours, je suis en situation ill\u00e9gale dans le pays !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laissez-moi vous expliquer : Un visa touristique vous permet de rester 3 mois dans le pays, de faire du volontariat et autre. Or devant rester 6 mois au total, j\u2019avais 3 solutions :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. J\u2019essaye d\u2019obtenir un visa: – Pour le touristique, il faut d\u00e9crire en d\u00e9tails tous les lieux, randonn\u00e9es ou h\u00f4tels dans lesquels je me rendrais au cours des 6 mois, et attendre que celui-ci soit approuv\u00e9. -Pour le visa d\u2019\u00e9tude, il faut que ce soit un \u00e9change entre 2 \u00e9tablissements scolaires, ce n\u2019est pas le cas ici. – Pour un visa de travail, il faut un contrat de travail, que je n\u2019ai pas puisque je ne suis pas payer = pas un travail. – Et de plus pour chacun de ces visas il faut payer entre 100-140\u20ac et aller \u00e0 l\u2019ambassade (qui pour moi est \u00e0 Berlin)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Bref, C\u2019est chiant, incertain et cher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Je traverse une fronti\u00e8re et reviens pour 3 autre mois de visa touristique. C\u2019\u00e9tait une m\u00e9thode efficace avant la pand\u00e9mie, depuis, les contr\u00f4les se sont resserr\u00e9s et la probabilit\u00e9 que je ne puisse pas rerentrer dans le pays \u00e9tait trop haute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Je reste de mani\u00e8re ill\u00e9gale dans le pays et je paye 1$ par jours apr\u00e8s 3 mois en partant. Cette m\u00e9thode, tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pandue, me reviendrait \u00e0 max. 90\u20ac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Je suis donc ill\u00e9galement dans le pays et je m\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 aller dans un a\u00e9roport o\u00f9 ils vont demander mon passeport et voir ma date d\u2019arriv\u00e9e ! Paniqu\u00e9e, j\u2019appelle papa pour avoir son avis et je vais m\u00eame jusqu\u2019\u00e0 appeler le gars de la compagnie avec qui j\u2019\u00e9tais en contact jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u00e0 pour lui demander. Il me rassure, tout va bien, il n\u2019y a aucun probl\u00e8me pour eux. Je suis rassur\u00e9e, mais maintenant je n\u2019ai qu\u2019une envie : rentrer \u00e0 la maison, en Europe j\u2019entends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Bref apr\u00e8s un petit coup au moral et une bonne douche, je descends attendre mon bus. En attendant, j\u2019ai pas mal parl\u00e9 avec le g\u00e9rant, qui est vraiment tr\u00e8s sympathique et qui me donne ses recommandations sur comment occuper la journ\u00e9e et demie restante, apr\u00e8s mon vol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Le bus arrive, on va \u00e0 l\u2019a\u00e9roport et on passe les contr\u00f4les de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, on paye les taxes\u00a0! (Sinon c\u2019est pas dr\u00f4le\u00a0!) puis enfin, on monte dans un coucou. Tout se passe tr\u00e8s vite\u00a0! Je ne me sens pas tr\u00e8s bien, d\u00e9j\u00e0 avant de monter, je n\u2019\u00e9tais pas en forme, mais l\u00e0, ca devient pas confortable du tout\u00a0! L\u2019avion d\u00e9colle et le tour commence. On commence \u00e0 tournicoter autour des figures, dans un sens, puis dans l\u2019autre. Tout est absolument magnifique, mais je ne me sens pas bien du tout. En tout nous avons vu (et tournicoter autour de) 14 dessins, tous plus impressionnants les uns que les autres. \u00c0 peu pr\u00e8s 30 min apr\u00e8s notre d\u00e9collage, nous arrivons enfin sur la terre ferme. En sortant j\u2019ai achet\u00e9 un empanada, me disant que je me sens mal parce que je n\u2019ai encore rien mang\u00e9. \u00c0 peine ai-je croqu\u00e9 dans mon pain que quelqu\u2019un vient en courant\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Retour \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel\u00a0? O\u00f9 est ton sac\u00a0?\u00a0\u00bb. Je retourne donc dans l\u2019a\u00e9roport, cherche mon sac et me fais presque jet\u00e9e dans un colectivo pour retourner \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    En arrivant, vers 11h et quelques, je suis crev\u00e9e. Plus aucune \u00e9nergie. Je vais me coucher et dors jusqu\u2019\u00e0 16h. Je d\u00e9cide de ressortir pour contenter mon estomac en d\u00e9tresse et je rentre dans une pizzeria, commande et apr\u00e8s 2 parts, je ne me sens pas bien\u2026. Je prends le tout \u00e0 emporter, passe par une caisse automatique (mon portable \u00e9tant mort et n\u2019ayant pas encore acc\u00e8s \u00e0 mes comptes sur mon nouveau, je ne sais m\u00eame pas combien il me reste, j\u2019ai donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de retirer la somme dont j\u2019aurais besoin pour la fin du P\u00e9rouple) et je rentre \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel. Je ne suis pas bien, je veux rentrer, j\u2019en ai marre et je d\u00e9cide de ne pas aller \u00e0 Paracas et Huacachina, qui auraient \u00e9t\u00e9 les derni\u00e8res \u00e9tapes du P\u00e9rouple. Je d\u00e9cide de retourner le lendemain \u00e0 Cuzco et d\u2019y rester jusqu\u2019\u00e0 mon retour \u00e0 Mandor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    We arrive in Nazca around 6:30, I get off the bus (one of the worst I’ve taken! No toilet, no USB port to charge, no extendable seat, in short, I do not recommend !!), then I head to the exit. As usual in Peru, a woman offers me a tour of some kind. I refuse and ask him where I can find a taxi. She asks me which hotel, and understanding that we are not far away, she accompanies me to the door!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Rare thing: I was able to enter the room directly !!! So I tried to get some sleep, knowing that at 8:45 am the Nazca airline would pick me up to make a flight over the Nazca lines. But at this moment: impossible to sleep! What for? Because for a few days, I have been in an illegal situation in the country!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Let me explain: A tourist visa allows you to stay 3 months in the country, volunteer and other. But having to stay 6 months in total, I had 3 solutions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. – I am trying to get a visa:
      For the tourist, it is necessary to describe in detail all the places, hikes or hotels in which I would go during the 6 months, and wait for it to be approved.
      For the study visa, it must be an exchange between 2 schools, this is not the case here
      – For a work visa, you need an employment contract, which I do not have since I am not paying = not a job
      And more for each of these visas you have to pay between 100-140 \u20ac and go to the embassy (which for me is in Berlin)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In short, it’s boring, uncertain and expensive<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. I cross a border and come back for another 3 months of tourist visa. This was an effective method before the pandemic, since then, the controls have tightened and the probability that I could not return to the country was too high.<\/li>
      2. I stay illegally in the country and pay $1 per day after 3 months when leaving. This method, very widespread, would cost me max. 90 \u20ac.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        So I am illegally in the country and I am about to go to an airport where they will ask for my passport and see my arrival date! Panicked, I call Dad to get his opinion and I even go so far as to call the guy from the company with whom I was in contact until then to ask him. He reassures me, everything is fine, there is no problem for them. I am reassured, but now I have only one desire: to go home, in Europe I hear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        In short, after a little kick in the mood and a good shower, I go down to wait for my bus. In the meantime, I talked a lot with the manager, who is really very friendly and gives me his recommendations on how to occupy the remaining day and a half, after my flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The bus arrives, we go to the airport and we pass the security checks, we pay the taxes! (Otherwise it’s not funny!) then finally, we climb into a cuckoo. Everything happens very quickly! I don’t feel very well, already before going up, I was not in shape, but now, it becomes not comfortable at all! The plane takes off and the tour begins. We begin to spin around the figures, in one direction, then in the other. Everything is absolutely beautiful, but I don’t feel good at all. In all we saw (and swirl around) 14 drawings, all more impressive than the others. About 30 minutes after our take-off, we finally arrive on dry land. On the way out I bought an empanada, telling myself that I feel bad because I haven’t eaten anything yet. No sooner have I crunched into my bread than someone comes running: “Back to the hotel? Where is your bag? \u00bb. So I go back to the airport, look for my bag and almost throw myself into a colectivo to return to the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        When I arrived, around 11am and a few, I was dead. No more energy. I go to bed and sleep until 4pm. I decide to go out to satisfy my stomach in distress and I go into a pizzeria, order and after 2 parts, I do not feel well\u2026. I take everything to go, go through an automatic checkout (my mobile is dead and does not yet have access to my accounts on my new one, I do not even know how much I have left, so I decided to withdraw the amount I would need for the end of the Peruple) and I return to the hotel. I’m not well, I want to go back, I’m tired of it and I decide not to go to Paracas and Huacachina, which would have been the last stages of Peruple. I decided to return to Cuzco the next day and stay there until I returned to Mandor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

        En me levant, de plut\u00f4t mauvaise humeur, je remarque que je n\u2019ai pas d\u2019eau chaude (quelque chose de classique au P\u00e9rou, mais qui m\u2019a bien cass\u00e9 les pieds) et, bien que je n\u2019aie pas envie de sortir, je d\u00e9cide d\u2019aller au mus\u00e9e Antonini des arts pr\u00e9colombiens que le g\u00e9rant de l\u2019h\u00f4tel m\u2019a conseill\u00e9. J\u2019y vais, traverse la ville, profite de la balade, visite le mus\u00e9e (int\u00e9ressant mais assez peu informatif pour finir), puis je rentre manger les restes de pizza, qui me d\u00e9goutent assez vite, finalement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        J\u2019arrive enfin \u00e0 avoir de l\u2019eau chaude pour me laver et je repars pour aller au mirador (pour ceux qui ne souhaitent pas payer 100 balles pour un vol au-dessus des lignes (ce que je comprends totalement) c\u2019est l\u2019endroit pour quand-m\u00eame pouvoir voir le dessin de l\u2019arbre et celui des main). Pour cela, il fau prendre un bus qui part de la gare, mais sinon d\u2019une rue, qui est \u00e0 plusieurs rues, bref un beau bordel\u00a0pour trouver ce foutu bus\u00a0!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Ayant un peu de temps avant le d\u00e9part je rentre dans un bouiboui et commande un caf\u00e9. On m\u2019apporte une tasse d\u2019eau chaude et presque 10 min plus tard\u2026 Un bocal d\u00e9gueulasse de caf\u00e9 instantan\u00e9. Bon je n\u2019ai pas bu mon caf\u00e9 de luxe parce que j\u2019ai plus le temps. Mon bus va partir dans quelques minutes. Je monte dedans et c\u2019est parti pour le mirador !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        En montant dans la tour en ferraille, je vois en effet l\u2019arbre et les mains, mais surtout les montagnes autour ! Magnifiques !! Mais en 10 min tu as fait le tour et c\u2019est bon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Pour retourner en ville, on trouve un colectivo (avec un groupe de fran\u00e7ais qui passait par l\u00e0) et je rejoins, une fois de plus mon h\u00f4tel. N\u2019ayant r\u00e9serv\u00e9 que pour une nuit, je demande au g\u00e9rant si je peux attendre quelque part, \u00e7a mon bus pour Cuzco ne part que vers 21 :45 et il est 17 :00. Il m\u2019indique un petit salon et j\u2019attends donc sur une chaise pendant 4 longues heures \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Vers 21 :00, aimant arriver un peu en avance, je demande au g\u00e9rant o\u00f9 est mon sac, je le r\u00e9cup\u00e8re et je vois que lui aussi est entrain de mettre son manteau ! \u00c0 cause de l\u2019heure tardive, il a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de m\u2019accompagner jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la station de bus, bien que celle-ci ne soit qu\u2019\u00e0 5 min de marche !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Une fois l\u00e0-bas, je m\u2019enregistre, je m\u2019assois et l\u2019attente commence ! Avec 1h30 de retard, le bus arrive et je grimpe dedans pour d\u00e9couvrir que le bus est d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien rempli et que les odeurs sont bien pr\u00e9sentes. Un gars, que j\u2019aurais presque cr\u00fb bourr\u00e9, commence \u00e0 me parler et apr\u00e8s l\u2019avoir pas mal esquiv\u00e9 je m\u2019endors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        When I got up, in a rather bad mood, I noticed that I did not have hot water (something classic in Peru, but which broke my feet) and, although I did not want to go out, I decided to go to the Antonini Museum of Pre-Columbian Arts that the hotel manager advised me. I go there, cross the city, enjoy the walk, visit the museum (interesting but not very informative to finish), then I go back to eat the leftover pizza, which disgust me quite quickly, finally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        I finally manage to get hot water to shower and I leave to go to the watchtower (for those who do not wish to pay 100 bullets for a flight over the lines (which I totally understand) this is the place to still be able to see the drawing of the tree and that of the hands). For this, you have to take a bus that leaves from the station, but otherwise from a street, which is several streets, in short a beautiful brothel to find this damn bus!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Having a little time before departure I enter a bouiboui and order a coffee. They bring me a cup of hot water and almost 10 minutes later\u2026 A disgusting jar of instant coffee. Well I didn’t drink my luxury coffee because I have more time. My bus will leave in a few minutes. I climb in and it’s off to the watchtower!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Going up into the scrap tower, I see indeed the tree and the hands, but especially the mountains around! Beautiful!! But in 10 minutes you went around and it’s good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        To return to the city, we find a colectivo (with a group of French who passed by) and I join, once again my hotel. Having only booked for one night, I ask the manager if I can wait somewhere, that my bus to Cuzco only leaves around 21:45 and it is 17:00. He points me to a small living room and so I wait on a chair for 4 long hours \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Around 21:00, loving to arrive a little early, I ask the manager where my bag is, I pick it up and I see that he too is putting on his coat! Because of the late hour, he decided to accompany me to the bus station, although it is only a 5-minute walk away!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Once there, I check in, sit down and the wait begins! With 1h30 late, the bus arrives and I climb in to discover that the bus is already full and that the smells are present. A guy, whom I would have almost thought drunk, starts talking to me and after dodging him a lot I fall asleep.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

        R\u00e9veil assez t\u00f4t puisque nous sommes cens\u00e9s arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 la gare de Cuzco vers 6 :30, or il est 6 :00 et nous sommes encore dans les montagnes p\u00e9ruviennes (selon Maps Me \u00e0 2h de route de Cuzco). Les gens autour commencent \u00e0 se r\u00e9veill\u00e9s et beaucoup me pose la question, si j\u2019appartiens \u00e0 un groupe, dont je ne comprends pas le nom et si je me rends aussi \u00e0 la conf\u00e9rence \u00e0 Cuzco. Apr\u00e8s le 5 \u00e8me qui me pose ces questions, je comprends que je suis dans un bus d\u2019alcooliques anonymes et qu\u2019ils se rendent \u00e0 une r\u00e9union importante \u00e0 Cuzco, et me demande si je fais aussi partie du groupe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Pendant les 4 heures suppl\u00e9mentaires qui suivit (Eh oui, normalement 2h auraient suffi, si on avait roul\u00e9 un peu plus vite que 30km\/h !), ils ont pass\u00e9 des films sur les \u00e9crans du bus dont un avec des Zombies (je n\u2019aime pas les films de zombies) qui hante encore mes cauchemars aujourd\u2019hui. En bref, en arrivant \u00e0 Cuzco vers 10h je suis bien \u00e9nerv\u00e9e et le conducteur du taxi dans lequel je suis mont\u00e9e ne connait m\u00eame pas la rue de mon h\u00f4tel, pourtant si fr\u00e9quent\u00e9e. Il ne sait pas qu\u2019il y a des travaux et qu\u2019il ne peut pas passer. L\u00e9g\u00e8rement soul\u00e9e de ce voyage interminable, je sors du taxi en plein milieu de la route, lui donne l\u2019argent pour la course et me rends \u00e0 pied \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel. Arriv\u00e9e l\u00e0-bas, je papote un peu avec Luciana (la g\u00e9rante), prends une douche et sieste avant de ressortir faire 2-3 courses pour mon s\u00e9jour.  En rentrant, j\u2019ai retrouv\u00e9 Mimika (la fille de l\u2019h\u00f4tel \u00e0 Arequipa) et nous avons discut\u00e9 avec elle et Luciana jusqu\u2019\u00e0 tard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Wake up quite early since we are supposed to arrive at the station of Cuzco around 6:30, but it is 6:00 and we are still in the Peruvian mountains (according to Maps Me 2 hours drive from Cuzco). People around are starting to wake up and many people ask me the question, if I belong to a group, whose name I do not understand and if I also go to the conference in Cuzco. After the 5th one who asks me these questions, I understand that I am on a bus of alcoholics anonymous and that they are going to an important meeting in Cuzco, and asks me if I am also part of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        During the extra 4 hours that followed (yes, normally 2 hours would have been enough, if we had driven a little faster than 30km\/h!), they spent movies on the bus screens including one with Zombies (I don’t like zombie movies) that still haunts my nightmares today. In short, arriving in Cuzco around 10am I am very upset and the driver of the taxi in which I got in does not even know the street of my hotel, yet so busy. He does not know that there is work and that he cannot pass. Slightly relieved of this interminable journey, I get out of the taxi in the middle of the road, give him the money for the ride and walk to the hotel. Arrived there, I chat a little with Luciana (the manager), take a shower and nap before going out to do 2-3 errands for my stay. On the way back, I found Mimika (the girl from the hotel in Arequipa) and we chatted with her and Luciana until late.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        Un sac de voyage rempli plus tard, retour \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel pour ne rien faire de plus de la journ\u00e9e. Apr\u00e8s cuisine, papotage et comm\u00e9rage avec les personnes de l\u2019h\u00f4tel je me suis pos\u00e9e devant un film et dodo. Une connaissance de Cuzco m\u2019a invit\u00e9 \u00e0 une f\u00eate, mais j\u2019avoue m\u2019\u00eatre endormie avant que le message n\u2019arrive. Pour ma d\u00e9fense, le film que j\u2019ai regard\u00e9 \u00e9tais particuli\u00e8rement ennuyeux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Aujourd\u2019hui est vraiment similaire \u00e0 hier en enlevant le shopping. Je n\u2019ai rien foutu de la journ\u00e9e, je suis \u00e0 peine sortie pour manger pour midi\u00a0! Je me suis plant\u00e9e dans le canap\u00e9 de la r\u00e9ception et on a discut\u00e9 encore un peu avec Luciana, apr\u00e8s un passage assez long sur ses sites de rencontres. \u00a0J\u2019ai aussi pas mal discut\u00e9 avec Mimika, Alex et Matt, des clients de l\u2019h\u00f4tel. Ma seule sortie s\u2019est r\u00e9sum\u00e9e \u00e0 aller au restaurant le soir avec Alex et Matt et \u00e0 chanter les chansons qui passent sur la t\u00e9l\u00e9 du resto en amusant les autres clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An acquaintance from Cuzco invited me to a party, but I admit to falling asleep before the message arrived. In my defense, the movie I watched was particularly boring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Today is really similar to yesterday by removing shopping. I didn’t screw anything up during the day, I barely went out to eat for noon! I planted myself in the sofa of the reception and we talked a little more with Luciana, after a rather long passage on her dating sites. I also talked a lot with Mimika, Alex and Matt, hotel guests. My only outing was going to the restaurant in the evening with Alex and Matt and singing the songs that go on the TV of the restaurant while entertaining the other customers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        La nuit pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente \u00e9tait ma derni\u00e8re au Blacky Hostel. J\u2019ai r\u00e9serv\u00e9 une chambre avec jacuzzi dans la chambre dans un h\u00f4tel diff\u00e9rent pour ma derni\u00e8re nuit de vacances ! Mais avant de m\u2019y rendre, j\u2019ai 3 missions : 1. Retirer de l\u2019argent, 2. Recharger mon Claro (forfait mobile au P\u00e9rou) et r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer mes billets de train dans une des fili\u00e8res de PeruRail.  En achetant mon billet en ligne, PeruRail m\u2019a gentiment envoy\u00e9 une liste avec tous les endroits o\u00f9 je pouvais r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer ledit billet. Je me rends donc au plus proche, apr\u00e8s avoir accompli mes 2 autres missions, et tout est ferm\u00e9. Je demande \u00e0 un gars voulant me vendre un \u00e9ni\u00e8me tour quelconque : Ce magasin est ferm\u00e9 d\u00e9finitivement. Je me rends au suivant : de m\u00eame ! Sur la liste envoy\u00e9e, la gare dans laquelle je dois prendre mon train le lendemain et que je dois r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer mon billet au minimum une heure avant le d\u00e9part. Facile ! Demain je me rends \u00e0 la gare 1 h plus t\u00f4t et r\u00e9cup\u00e8re mon billet ! Les doigts dans le nez !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Forte de ma r\u00e9flexion je retourne \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel et demande \u00e0 Luciana de bonnes adresses pour aller manger, elle me conseille un restaurant de sushis, qui me fait bien envie, donc j\u2019y vais pour acheter \u00e0 emporter, pour le manger dans mon jacuzzi ! Mais ce que je ne remarque pas qu\u2019il n\u2019est que 11 :30 et que la majorit\u00e9 des restaurants n\u2019ouvre que vers 12 :30. Je passe donc une heure dans un caf\u00e9 que j\u2019appr\u00e9cie et, une heure plus tard, je retourne chercher mes sushis ! Enfin de retour, je demande \u00e0 Luciana d\u2019appeler un taxi et, en attendant, je papote avec Mimika , puis je prends le taxi, direction Paradis ! (C\u2019est le nom de l\u2019h\u00f4tel). Arriv\u00e9e l\u00e0-bas je m\u2019enregistre, r\u00e9serve un Taxi pour la gare pour le lendemain, ils me donnent ma chambre et l\u00e0 ! La f\u00eate peut commencer ! Jacuzzi avec t\u00e9l\u00e9 grand \u00e9cran juste devant et Sushis ! Que demande le peuple ! Je rempli la baignoire, mets un film et bon app\u00e9tit !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The night before was my last at blacky Hostel. I booked a room with jacuzzi in the room in a different hotel for my last night of vacation! But before I go there, I have 3 missions: 1. Withdraw money, 2. Recharge my Claro (mobile package in Peru) and collect my train tickets in one of PeruRail’s channels. When buying my ticket online, PeruRail kindly sent me a list with all the places where I could pick up the said ticket. So I go to the nearest one, after completing my other 2 missions, and everything is closed. I ask a guy who wants to sell me yet another round: This store is closed permanently. I go to the next one: likewise! On the list sent, the station in which I have to take my train the next day and that I have to pick up my ticket at least one hour before departure. Easy! Tomorrow I go to the station 1 hour earlier and get my ticket back! Fingers in the nose!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        With my reflection I go back to the hotel and ask Luciana good addresses to eat, she advises me a sushi restaurant, which makes me want, so I go there to buy takeaway, to eat it in my jacuzzi! But what I don’t notice is that it’s only 11:30 and the majority of restaurants only open around 12:30. So I spend an hour in a caf\u00e9 that I enjoy and, an hour later, I go back to get my sushi! Finally back, I ask Luciana to call a taxi and, in the meantime, I chat with Mimika, then I take the taxi, direction Paradise! (This is the name of the hotel). Arrived there I check in, book a Taxi to the station for the next day, they give me my room and there! The party can begin! Jacuzzi with big screen TV right in front and Sushi! What are the people asking for! I fill the bathtub, put on a movie and bon app\u00e9tit!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The rest of the day can be summed up by nap, jacuzzi, movies and eating! An almost perfect day!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sur le chemin, qui est tr\u00e8s long, je ne me sens pas bien et commence \u00e0 compter les chiens errants sur le trottoir de droite uniquement. En 30 min de voiture j\u2019ai pu compter 114 chiens errants ! Voila, petit divertissement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        En arrivant \u00e0 la gare 1h25 avant mon bus, je me rends au guichet, comme le pr\u00e9voyais mon plan, et l\u00e0, c\u2019est le drame : Guichet ferm\u00e9 ! Je demande aux employ\u00e9s pr\u00e9sents \u00e0 quelle heure \u00e7a ouvre : \u00c7a n\u2019ouvre pas, c\u2019est ferm\u00e9 d\u00e9finitivement. Je panique un peu, je n\u2019ai toujours pas mon billet pour prendre le train qui arrive dans moins d\u2019une heure !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Je saute sur le premier employ\u00e9 de la compagnie ferroviaire que je croise et lui demande de r\u00e9gler ce probl\u00e8me ! C\u2019est quand m\u00eame pas possible sur une liste donn\u00e9e par la compagnie, les 3 magasins rencontr\u00e9s \u00e9taient ferm\u00e9s !! Changer votre liste, mince !!  Il passe un coup de fil e en 4 min top chrono, j\u2019ai mon billet. D\u00e8s que je le re\u00e7ois, il vient me voir et me demande de lui laisser un commentaire sur TripAdvisor, son nom est Wilbert.         Donc \u00e7a y est ! 30 mins avant mon train, j\u2019ai mon billet ! Enfin\u2026 30 min +1h30 ! Le train est rentr\u00e9 dans une voiture et a eu pas mal de retard \u00e0 cause de \u00e7a.  Le voyage est tr\u00e8s long, on s\u2019arr\u00eate quasiment toutes les heures, sans explication, et \u00e7a dure et \u00e7a dure ! Vers 13h30 nous arrivons enfin \u00e0 Aguas Calientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Je termine mon P\u00e9rouple en achetant des fruits, avant de repartir pour Mandor o\u00f9 je rencontre Jella (Allemagne) et Elena (Angleterre) les 2 nouvelles volontaires, ainsi que Brandon, un touriste australien qui a pass\u00e9 pas mal de temps avec nous \u00e0 boire des cocktails, parce qu\u2019il a manqu\u00e9 son bus. Et bien entendu, Rocky, qui a bien grandit<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        I finish my Perugia by buying fruit, before leaving for Mandor where I meet Jella (Germany) and Elena (England) the 2 new volunteers, as well as Brandon, an Australian tourist who spent a lot of time with us drinking cocktails, because he missed his bus.
