Une journ\u00e9e magnifique que celle-ci ! Apr\u00e8s un bon petit-d\u00e9jeuner, je suis mont\u00e9e une fois de plus au mirador o\u00f9 je reste une bonne heure pour passer des coups de fils (la r\u00e9ception est vraiment bonne de l\u00e0-haut) et profiter de la vue magnifique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En redescendant, comme il fait tr\u00e8s bon, je d\u00e9cide d\u2019aller me baigner dans la rivi\u00e8re, un peu froide, mais tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able, puis je retourne au restaurant pour aller manger. Bien que mon plan initial soit de partir directement apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9jeuner, je me suis autoris\u00e9 une petite sieste avent de partir pour Aguas vers 16 :00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arriv\u00e9e l\u00e0-bas, j\u2019ai achet\u00e9 des brownies et autres pour Elena et Jella, qui m\u2019attendent au Blacky Hostel et me prends un petit caf\u00e9 pour attendre mon train qui est \u00e0 19 :00. Arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 23 :00 au Blacky. Dodo et \u00e0 demain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A wonderful day than this one! After a good breakfast, I went up once again to the viewpoint where I stay a good hour to make phone calls (the reception is really good from up there) and enjoy the beautiful view.
Going down, as the weather is very good, I decide to go for a swim in the river, a little cold, but very pleasant, then I go back to the restaurant to eat. Although my initial plan is to leave directly after lunch, I allowed myself a short nap before leaving for Aguas around 16:00.

Arriving there, I bought brownies and others for Elena and Jella, who are waiting for me at the Blacky Hostel and have me a small coffee to wait for my train which is at 19:00. Arrival at 23:00 at the Blacky. Sleep and see you tomorrow.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A mon r\u00e9veil, je retrouve Elena, Jella est partie faire quelques courses. Elle me propose d\u2019aller avec elles \u00e0 Pisac, mais comme j\u2019ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu la ville et que j\u2019ai quelques achats \u00e0 faire, notamment pour manger, je lui dis que je les retrouve le soir-m\u00eame pour qu\u2019on aille manger quelque part. La journ\u00e9e se passe tranquillement. Papotage avec les gens du Blacky (comme d\u2019hab), tour des march\u00e9s, courses n\u00e9cessaires et caf\u00e9, bref tr\u00e8s tranquille !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le soir, les filles me disent de les retrouver dans l\u2019un des nombreux restaurants de poulet de la ville, o\u00f9 elles se trouvent avec 2 gars qu\u2019elles ont rencontr\u00e9 pendant la journ\u00e9e. J\u2019y vais, on mange (enfin eux, moi, j\u2019ai plus trop faim) et on sort du resto et on tombe sur un stand qui vend une boisson visqueuse rouge, alors par curiosit\u00e9 on tente ! Vraiment sp\u00e9ciale, mais pas mauvaise. Ne pouvant pas finir mon verre, le vendeur me met le reste du jus dans un petit sac avec une paille. C\u2019est un peu bizarre, mais pourquoi pas !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En rentrant au Blacky avec l\u2019intention d\u2019aller se coucher, un autre client de l\u2019hotel nous propose de sortir pour aller danser la salsa dans un club pas loin. 30 min plus tard, un petit groupe de 6 personnes sort pour aller danser la salsa ! Or, peu d\u2019entre nous savent r\u00e9ellement danser, qu\u2019\u00e0 cela ne tienne ! Ce soir m\u00eame, il y a dans ce club un cours de salsa ! La soir\u00e9e est g\u00e9niale, tout le monde s\u2019amuse beaucoup ! Nous ne sommes partis du club que parce que l\u2019ambiance commence \u00e0 chauffer et que des mecs bourr\u00e9s d\u00e9cident que se lancer dans une bagarre am\u00e9liorerait l\u2019humeur de la soir\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bref retour au Blacky et dodo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

When I wake up, I find Elena, Jella has gone to do some shopping. She offers me to go with them to Pisac, but as I have already seen the city and I have some purchases to make, especially to eat, I tell her that I find them the same evening so that we can go eat somewhere. The day goes by quietly. Chatting with the people of the Blacky (as usual), tour of the markets, necessary shopping and coffee, in short very quiet!

In the evening, the girls tell me to meet them in one of the many chicken restaurants in town, where they are with 2 guys they met during the day. I go, we eat (well, me, I’m too hungry) and we leave the restaurant and we come across a stand that sells a viscous red drink, so out of curiosity we try! Really special, but not bad. Not being able to finish my glass, the seller puts the rest of the juice in a small bag with a straw. It’s a bit weird, but why not!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Returning to the Blacky with the intention of going to bed, another guest of the hotel offers us to go out to dance salsa in a club not far away. 30 min later, a small group of 6 people goes out to dance salsa! However, few of us really know how to dance, never mind! This very evening, there is a salsa class in this club! The evening is great, everyone has a lot of fun! We only left the club because the atmosphere is starting to heat up and drunk guys decide that getting into a fight would improve the mood of the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R\u00e9veil vers 8 :30 et petit-d\u00e9j avec tout le monde. On discute, papote et Elena et Jella me propose d\u2019aller faire une balade \u00e0 cheval autour de Sacsayhuaman, une des ruines de Cusco. 2h de cheval ! Depuis le temps que j\u2019avais envie d\u2019en faire, je n\u2019ai pas r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi longtemps ! Juste avant de partir, 2 autres gars de l\u2019h\u00f4tel me parlent d\u2019une foire o\u00f9 on peut manger un plat p\u00e9ruvien tr\u00e8s difficile \u00e0 trouver : le Pachamanka, et ils me demandent si je veux y aller l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi, mais bien s\u00fbr !!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On part donc pour la balade. Arriv\u00e9es sur place, on nous demande qui le plus d\u2019exp\u00e9rience en \u00e9quitation, ayant fait pas mal d\u2019ann\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9quitation, c\u2019est moi ! Il me dit que le cheval qu\u2019il va me donner est le leader ! Il est plus rapide que les autres. Pas de probl\u00e8me ! La balade commence tranquillement, on s\u2019arr\u00eate au temple de la lune de Sacsayhuaman, on met pied \u00e0 terre et on va visiter un peu les lieux, prendre des photos et en redescendant, un homme nous distribue des photos de nous sur les chevaux. On les regarde, et les filles s\u2019extasient devant les leurs et le mec dit en espagnole \u00e0 notre guide : \u00ab Quelles idiotes, elles pensent que ce sont des cadeaux ! \u00bb pensant que nous ne comprenions pas, sur quoi nous demandons en espagnol quel est le prix de ces photos. Il rougit (couillon) et nous payons nos photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La balade continue et je discute avec Jella de mon envie de galoper un peu. Mais la plupart du temps, les chevaux pour se genre de tours, sont dress\u00e9s pour aller au pas et ne suivre qu\u2019un seul chemin, donc normalement ce n\u2019est pas possible. C\u2019est sans compter sur le fait que le cheval qu\u2019on m\u2019a attribu\u00e9 n\u2019est pas particuli\u00e8rement bien dress\u00e9 et que lui aussi a envie d\u2019aller un peu plus vite !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sur un chemin de plaine, il d\u00e9cide donc de cabrer et de partir au galop. C\u2019est parti ! Arrivant pr\u00e8s d\u2019un nouveau point de visite, je tire sur les rennes et le canasson se calme (pour le moment). Je demande au gars de remonter mes \u00e9triers, au cas ou le cheval s\u2019emballe \u00e0 nouveau et grand bien m\u2019en fit puisque \u00e0 peine quelques m\u00e8tres plus loin c\u2019est reparti pour un rod\u00e9o ! Et \u00e7a va recommencer plusieurs fois, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que le guide me dise de passer derri\u00e8re les autres pour le calmer un peu. Quelle bonne id\u00e9e ! D\u00e8s qu\u2019il a comprit qu\u2019il ne peut pas doubler parce que le chemin de montagne est trop \u00e9troit, ben il essaie de passer sur les c\u00f4t\u00e9s. Et quand il comprend que je ne le laisserai pas faire et ben il me fait tomber dans les cailloux ! Pas de panique, tout va bien, juste quelques \u00e9gratignures aux mains et quelques bleus par-ci, par-l\u00e0. Pour \u00eatre franche, j\u2019ai plus craint pour mon appareil photo et mon portable, qui vont bien, eux-aussi. La balade s\u2019est finit avec le guide qui tient le cheval par la bride, bref pas passionnant. Mais je me serai bien amus\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De retour au point de d\u00e9part, les filles souhaitent aller visiter Sacsayhuaman et je d\u00e9cide de rentrer \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel, o\u00f9 les autres sont cens\u00e9s m\u2019attendre pour aller \u00e0 la foire. Que nenni ! Je suis rentr\u00e9e, eux sont partis, je les ai rejoints et j\u2019ai pu gouter au Pachamanka. Un plat \u00e0 base de viande (poulet et b\u0153uf), qui cuit dans un trou dans la terre, entour\u00e9 de pierres chaudes et recouvert de terre. La viande est extr\u00eamement tendre. C\u2019est servi avec des haricots, patates et un g\u00e2teau au raisins secs enroul\u00e9 dans des feuilles de ma\u00efs. Un r\u00e9gal ! Apr\u00e8s avoir bien mang\u00e9, nous avons fait un petit tour dans la foire et avons eu droit \u00e0 un petit cours sur la diff\u00e9rence entre un alpaca, un lama et un vilcuna (une sorte de lama plus grande et plus mince).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous sommes rentr\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel et 2 amies fran\u00e7aises rencontr\u00e9es \u00e0 Mandor m\u2019\u00e9crivent pour qu\u2019on aille se boire un verre toutes les 3 en ville. J\u2019avoue que je suis un peu crev\u00e9e, mais allons-y ! On se retrouve donc devant leur h\u00f4tel, faisons un petit tour dans les diff\u00e9rents march\u00e9s, mangeons des churros et testons d\u2019autres g\u00e2teaux, puis nous nous rendons dans la rue des bars et prenons un verre en mangeant un burrito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En rentrant \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel, je suis morte !<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Wake up around 8:30 am and breakfast with everyone. We chat, chat and Elena and Jella offer me to go for a horse ride around Sacsayhuaman, one of the ruins of Cusco. 2 hours of horseback riding! Since the time I wanted to do it, I didn’t think long! Just before leaving, 2 other guys from the hotel tell me about a fair where you can eat a Peruvian dish very difficult to find: Pachamanka, and they ask me if I want to go in the afternoon, but of course !!!

So we leave for the walk. Arrived on site, we are asked who the most experience in horseback riding, having done a lot of year of riding, it is me! He tells me that the horse he is going to give me is the leader! It is faster than the others. No problem! The walk begins quietly, we stop at the temple of the moon of Sacsayhuaman, we set foot on the ground and we will visit a little the place, take photos and on the way down, a man distributes photos of us on the horses. We look at them, and the girls rave about theirs and the guy says in Spanish to our guide: “What idiots, they think they are gifts!” thinking that we do not understand, on which we ask in Spanish what is the price of these photos. He blushes (couillon) and we pay for our photos.

The ride continues and I discuss with Jella my desire to gallop a little. But most of the time, horses for their kind of tricks, are trained to go to the pace and follow only one path, so normally this is not possible. This is without counting on the fact that the horse I was assigned is not particularly well trained and that he too wants to go a little faster!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On a lowland path, he decides to rear and gallop away. Here we go! Arriving near a new point of visit, I shoot the reindeer and the canasson calms down (for the moment). I ask the guy to go up my stirrups, in case the horse gets carried away again and great good did me since just a few meters away it’s back for a rodeo! And it will start again several times, until the guide tells me to go behind the others to calm him down a little. What a great idea! As soon as he understands that he cannot overtake because the mountain path is too narrow, he tries to pass on the sides. And when he understands that I will not let him do it and well he makes me fall into the pebbles! Don’t panic, everything is fine, just a few scratches on your hands and a few bruises here and there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be honest, I feared more for my camera and laptop, which are fine, too. The ride ended with the guide holding the horse by the bridle, in short not exciting. But I would have had a lot of fun.

Back at the starting point, the girls want to visit Sacsayhuaman and I decide to go back to the hotel, where the others are supposed to wait for me to go to the fair. But no! I went back, they left, I joined them and I was able to taste the Pachamanka. A dish based on meat (chicken and beef), which cooks in a hole in the earth, surrounded by hot stones and covered with earth. The meat is extremely tender. It is served with beans, potatoes and a raisin cake wrapped in corn leaves. A delight! After eating well, we took a short tour of the fair and were treated to a short class on the difference between an alpaca, a llama and a vilcuna (a kind of larger and thinner llama).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went back to the hotel and 2 French friends I’ve met in Mandor write to go for a drink the 3 of us in town. I admit that I’m a little exhausted, but let’s go! So we meet in front of their hotel, take a walk in the different markets, eat churros and test other cakes, then we go to the street of bars and have a drink while eating a burrito.

Le grand jour\u00a0! Le jour de l\u2019Inti Raymi\u00a0! Tout le monde est en branle-bas de combat\u00a0! Le but \u00e9tant d\u2019arriver sur la place des armes le plus rapidement possible pour pouvoir avoir une bonne vue sur le show. \u00c0 10.30, nous sommes sur place avec une vue plus ou moins bonne. Fort heureusement, Sarah, une Allemande de l\u2019h\u00f4tel est tr\u00e8s grande et a un bon appareil photo, ce qui nous permet de pouvoir suivre le spectacle \u00e0 travers l\u2019\u00e9cran. Le show dure une heure, plus de 1000 danseurs d\u00e9filent et dansent autour de la place, les pr\u00eatres, scribes et paysans tournoient autour de l\u2019Inca et de sa femme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puis d\u2019un coup, tout le monde se met en mouvement et se dirige vers Sacsayhuaman pour la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d\u2019adoration au soleil. En bonne pigeonne que je suis, j\u2019ai achet\u00e9 mon billet $100 (on se souvient) alors que tous les autres se ruent vers les montagnes qui entourent le temple et d\u2019o\u00f9 on peut voir le show gratuitement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bref, je me mets \u00e0 ma place et, heureusement, peux profiter du show de pr\u00e8s. Tout est magnifique : les danseurs, les couleurs, les rituels, etc\u2026 Le show dure une heure et demie. Pendant laquelle je ne comprends pas grand-chose, puisque tout est en Quechua. Je peux juste observer et deviner ce qui se passe sur sc\u00e8ne. Le soleil tape fort et malgr\u00e9 lunettes, chapeau, cr\u00e8me solaire et eau, je suis partie au moment o\u00f9 ils ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 annoncer les sponsors et que tous les groupes ont fini leur petit tour de piste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The big day! The day of inti Raymi! Everyone is in a fight! The goal is to arrive on the place of arms as quickly as possible to be able to have a good view of the show. At 10.30, we are on site with a more or less good view. Fortunately, Sarah, a German from the hotel is very tall and has a good camera, which allows us to follow the show through the screen. The show lasts an hour, more than 1000 dancers parade and dance around the square, priests, scribes and peasants swirl around the Inca and his wife. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then all of a sudden, everyone gets moving and heads to Sacsayhuaman for the sun worship ceremony. As a good pigeon that I am, I bought my ticket $100 (we remember) while all the others rush to the mountains that surround the temple and from where you can see the show for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In short, I put myself in my place and, fortunately, can enjoy the show up close. Everything is magnificent: the dancers, the colors, the rituals, etc\u2026 The show lasts an hour and a half. During which I do not understand much, since everything is in Quechua. I can just observe and guess what’s going on on stage. The sun hits hard and despite glasses, hat, sunscreen and water, I left the moment they started to announce the sponsors and all the groups finished their little lap of the track.

I went back to the hotel, got ready to eat and the others started to arrive, we ate and talked until the evening, before everyone landed in front of a movie. From there sleep for everyone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

R\u00e9veil tranquille, petit d\u00e9j avec les quelques l\u00e8ve-t\u00f4t, puis tour des march\u00e9s (encore) et mus\u00e9es avec Elena et Jella. Notamment celui sur l\u2019architecture inca et coloniale puis mus\u00e9e d\u2019art contemporain. Je suis rentr\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel vers 15 :00 et Luciana et 2 autres de l\u2019h\u00f4tel me proposent d\u2019aller manger des sushis chez l\u2019un des meilleurs japonais (ce sont vraiment des Japonais) de Cusco. C\u2019est donc parti !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On rentre et un gars de l\u2019h\u00f4tel (encore un !) nous rappelle qu\u2019on avait pr\u00e9vu de sortir ce soir. Mais jusqu\u2019\u00e0 8h du soir sieste g\u00e9n\u00e9rale !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vers 20 :30 tout le monde est enfin pr\u00e8s, enfin presque : Luciana est encore en pyj. Mais bon, on va dans un resto \/ bar pour boire un coup en jouant au Jenga et autres jeux de table en mangeant des tequenos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2h plus tard on sort pour aller au Chango, un club dont un des gars de l\u2019h\u00f4tel n\u2019arr\u00eate pas de nous rab\u00e2cher les oreilles. On y reste jusqu\u2019\u00e0 2h30 du mat, puis retour \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel pour dormir \u00e0 peine quelques heures, avant de prendre mon bus de retour pour Mandor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Quiet awakening, breakfast with the few early risers, then tour of the markets (again) and museums with Elena and Jella. In particular the one on Inca and colonial architecture then museum of contemporary art. I returned to the hotel around 15:00 and Luciana and 2 others from the hotel offer me to eat sushi at one of the best Japanese (they are really Japanese) in Cusco. So let’s go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We go back and a guy from the hotel (one more!) reminds us that we had planned to go out tonight. But until 8am general nap!
Around 20:30 everyone is finally close, finally almost: Luciana is still in pyj. But hey, we go to a restaurant \/ bar to have a drink while playing Jenga and other table games while eating tequenos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je suis arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 Mandor vers 13 :00 et j\u2019ai fil\u00e9 au lit pour faire une sieste jusqu\u2019\u00e0 20 :00. Quand je me suis r\u00e9veill\u00e9e, j\u2019ai couru pour aller manger (normalement le diner est servi \u00e0 19 :00) et la cuisini\u00e8re m\u2019annonce qu\u2019il n\u2019y a plus rien pour moi ! Donc sandwich et retour au plumard.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
