Journée détente et hôpital / Day of relaxation and hospital – 03.03
Le 3 au matin je n’ai clairement pas envie de travailler, les boutons de moustiques me grattent et mes bras ne ressemblent plus à rien. Je prends donc une demi-journée de libre pour aller à Aguas Calientes. Au programme : shopping dans le marché artisanal, coups de téléphone, passage à l’hôpital et achat de fruits. A l’hôpital, j’ai droit à un examen, une consultation chez le médecin, une injection en intraveineuse dans la main de cortisone et à des médicaments (à la cortisone) pour calmer les inflammations. Le tout pour 19 euros …. Pas mal ! Après tout ça, retour à Mandor, 40 mins de marche.
On the morning of the 3rd I clearly do not want to work, the mosquito pimples scratch me and my arms no longer look like anything. So I take half a day off to go to Aguas Calientes. E. est à Cuzco pour un cours de massage, ce qui nous laisse un peu plus de liberté et de motivation, c’est également le dernier jour de travail d’Ana. Nous décidons donc de profiter du beau soleil pour aller nous baigner dans la rivière. Le soir, c’est crêpes et tortillas pour le dernier diner d’Ana !
E. is in Cuzco for a massage class, which gives us a little more freedom and motivation, it is also Ana’s last day of work. So we decide to take advantage of the beautiful sun to go swimming in the river. In the evening, it’s crepes and tortillas for Ana’s last dinner!

Départ d’Ana ! Le commencement de la fin de cette joyeuse équipe. Mais elle est parti pile au bon moment puisque le soir même, l’électricité a été coupée, E. est reparti en s’en foutant totalement et en nous disant que l’aide ne viendrait sans doute que la semaine prochaine. Un bon diner à la chandelle plus tard, nous avons décider de dormir sur la terrasse dans les hamacs. Une très bonne nuit !

Jours off de Fanny, heureusement l’aide aura été un peu plus efficace que E., elle est arrivée le 7 au matin et le soir nous avons pu avoir de la lumière ! J’ai construit des étagères pour ma chambre. Et nuit à la belle étoile sur les hamacs.
09, 10 & 11.03.22
Journées tranquilles avec fabrications de guirlande de pompoms typiques d’ici au programme. Avec comédies musicales en concert live avec quelques pas de danse et quelques fausses notes à l’appui. Suivi de soirée Seigneur des anneaux, tresses et couture de peluches avec des chaussettes et … du chocolat ! Une denrée rare ici !

Dernier jour de Fanny ! La team est définitivement séparée ! Je me suis réinstallée dans la petite chambre (J’avais accepté de déménager avec Fanny et de laisser la petite chambre à Ana). J’ai commencé à construire un bureau et à ranger mes affaires.

Ana’s departure! The beginning of the end of this joyful team. But she left at the right time because the same evening, the electricity was cut off, E. left by not giving a damn and telling us that the help would probably only come next week. A good candlelight dinner later, we decided to sleep on the terrace in the hammocks. A very good night!

Fanny’s days off , fortunately the help will have been a little more effective than E., she arrived on the 7th in the morning and in the evening we were able to have light! I built shelves for my room. And night under the stars on the hammocks.
09, 10 & 11.03.22
Quiet days with typical pompom garland making from here to the program. With live musicals with a few dance steps and some false notes in support. Followed by an evening with Lord of the Rings, braids and sewing of plush toys with socks and … chocolate! A rare commodity here!

Fanny’s last day! The team is definitely separated! I moved back into the small room (I had agreed to move with Fanny and leave the small room to Ana). I started building an office and tidying up my things.
